In today’s job market, networking is key to a successful job search. These sessions will provide you with ways to proactively network as well as connect with individuals at companies to which you have applied, including providing you with messaging templates to use. Additionally, you will receive best practices for optimizing your LinkedIn and other job boards in your search.

Even though you might be very skilled at something, you may not enjoy doing it! Highlighting and honoring the skills we have that spark joy brings us closer to our purpose. We will make sure these skills are well-articulated in your resume and in the right places. Skills are also best supported with real accomplishments on the job. We will uncover your accomplishments in current / past jobs, and make sure you can discuss them in an interview in the STAR Format. We will create a repository of accomplishments you can draw upon in interviews and include in your resume, when appropriate.

Interview Prep sessions will vary by the individual needs and the roles you are interviewing for. These may include a Behavioral Mock Interview, STAR Method / Accomplishments Prep, General Q&A / how to prepare for the interview / run questions by me, and/or Take Home Assignment Review.

Talking about money can be hard. We discuss your salary expectations, review market data, discuss approaches for salary negotiations, and any general Q&A you may have about how to talk about salary. We will do a market analysis for your skill set, experience, and role type, and make sure your expectations are competitive and well-aligned with the market. You don’t want to undervalue yourself while balancing unrealistically high expectations. We can role play how to communicate your salary expectations and negotiate an offer.
